Sprig Sichuan Chicken and Veggies with Jasmine Rice
This new Sichuan Chilly paste launched by Sprig gourmet is absolutely fresh and truly unique in taste. It’s a perfect blend of real Sichuan peppercorns, tomatoes and fermented soyabean. Its makes cooking really effortless, without having to bother much for flavours yet the outcome is “lipsmashingly” delicious πŸ™‚

Instructions
  1. β€’ Marinade the chicken with all the ingredients mentioned above and refrigerate for an hour.
  2. β€’ Heat Oil in a deep fryer and add the chicken, adding not more than 5 to 6 pieces at a time.
  3. β€’ Place the chicken in an absorbent paper and set aside.
  4. β€’ Heat oil in a pan on a very high flame. Add the dried red chilies and sautΓ© for a few seconds.
  5. β€’ Add minced ginger, garlic and spring onion whites. Stir-fry for less than a second.
  6. β€’ Toss in the mixed bell peppers, beans and onions and stir-fry for a minute.
  7. β€’ Add salt, sugar, Sichuan chilly paste and vinegar.
  8. β€’ Add the fried chicken and spring onion greens and give it a toss.
  9. β€’ Sprinkle with some roasted white sesame seeds.
  10. β€’ Served with some jasmine rice or any mildly flavoured rice.
